HMG Powder Coatings chose Alzheimers Society for 2024

HMG Powder Coatings proudly hosted a Christmas Jumper Day on Thursday, December 5th, bringing cheer to the workplace while supporting an important cause. Staff members were encouraged to wear their favorite Christmas jumpers, transforming the office into a colourful celebration of the festive season. This year, the event supported the Alzheimer’s Society, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by dementia. The organisation was selected through a nomination process, where employees submitted causes that held personal significance to them. From these submissions, three charities were shortlisted, and the final choice was made at random. Stephen Duffy, Operations Director, expressed his pride in the team’s participation, saying: "It’s heartening to see our staff come together for a day of fun while contributing to such a deserving cause. Events like this not only strengthen our workplace community but also remind us of the power we have to make a difference in the lives of others."

The event was a resounding success, combining holiday fun with a shared sense of purpose. HMG Powder Coatings is delighted to continue fostering a culture of giving and supporting causes that resonate with its team.
